Abara’s first store in Ngee Ann City is barely a week old, but is already gaining attention with its luxury bag collection.
The store embraces shoppers with its warm, welcoming decor dominated by natural accents like bamboo and stone. It has a minimalist A-shaped design to reflect Abara’s “A” logo, and an open and spacious format that allows shoppers to browse comfortably.
All this is to shine a spotlight on Abara bags. Founded by Yuki Yang in 2021, the Singapore-based brand may be young but has plenty going for it. Abara offers bespoke and ready-made collections, including the latest for summer 2023 called Afterglow.
Like its previous lines, Afterglow features quality leather, impeccable craftsmanship and modern details. Here are several reasons why you should own one or more creations.
1. Abara’s designs accentuate your wardrobe. Afterglow showcases the brand’s know-how in the luxury field with proportions that emphasise style and flexibility while elevating your outfits.
The Crescent bag features a lambskin drawstring closure and calfskin strap that can be worn crossbody or slung.
The square Keeps’Ake is a top seller and can be worn multiple ways – on the shoulder, crossbody, or as a clutch. The flirty Keepie is the miniature of the bestselling Keeps’Ake bag, where it has retained all of the bag’s original shape and proportions, but updated to a mini bag size.
The minimalist Voyage tote, perfect for everyday and travel, has multiple pockets and compartments, including one for your laptop.
The Bow Accordion Mini in Abara Monogram, calfskin or crocodile is the perfect on-trend small bag. Carry it around your waist, across your body, or as a clutch.
2. They add a pop of colour to everyday finesse. With Afterglow Pink, Passion Pink, Breezy Blue, Canyon, Off White, or even the black of obsidian, there’s a colour to accentuate every outfit.
3. Sturdy and smooth-edged, they are better for the environment. Environmental responsibility ensures Abara’s light carbon footprint. Sustainable sourcing of fine calf leather and lambskin protects the environment and upholds its meticulous craftsmanship.
They are treated responsibly, resulting in low-impact manufacturing and minimal exposure to hazardous chemicals. As well as being CITES-certified, Abara Bespoke exotic skin designs also use sustainably sourced crocodile leather.
Abara is located at #B1-51 Ngee Ann City.
