Hennessy Limited Editions by LeBron James: Like a king

, 3 star-powered collabs with celebrities LeBron James, Snoop Dogg and Beyonce

It’s a partnership between giants as the world-renowned cognac house Hennessy comes together with basketball legend LeBron James in the creation of a limited-edition bottle bearing designs driven by his presence both on and off the court.

Both the bottle and its gift box have reimagined up the traditional Hennessy Bras Arme of a fist clutching a hatchet – the founder Richard Hennessy’s family coat of arms – in honour of the Los Angeles Lakers power forward. Now, his hand, bearing his iconic crown and clutching the Henny-rita cocktail, take pride of place. It’s a fitting nod, considering how he recently added his own twist to the Henny-rita at a cognac tasting experience with the brand by adding orange juice to the traditional recipe of Hennessy V.S, lime juice, orange liqueur, agave syrup and a lime wedge to garnish.

Fans can purchase the limited-edition LeBron James bottles at Cold Storage outlets across Singapore. They can also get a preview of the bottle – and test their basketball skills – at a pop-up at Suntec City from Oct14 to 20.

Skechers x Snoop Dogg collection: A blend of comfort and street style

, 3 star-powered collabs with celebrities LeBron James, Snoop Dogg and Beyonce

American rapper and singer-songwriter Snoop Dogg lends a dose of grungy edge to the comforting footwear technology of Skechers. The collection kicks off with a pair of his and hers leather kicks, quietly adorned with the collaborative logo to best allow both versions’ subtle differences to shine. The men’s Premium Leather Slip-ins Snoop One OG boasts a smooth leather upper, stretch laces and smoke graphics on the heel, while the lady’s version comes with a metallic-trimmed midsole and rose gold lace eyelets.

The all-day shoes are followed with a far louder nod to the rap star by way of reference to his NFT-driven (non-fungible token) persona, Mr Bombay, with visuals of his Bored Ape plastered on a pair of slides (available in black and – get this – leopard print) and sneakers.

The collection is available online and exclusively at the Skechers experiential store at Jewel Changi Airport.

Levi’s and Beyonce in new global campaign: Two American icons

, 3 star-powered collabs with celebrities LeBron James, Snoop Dogg and Beyonce

The brand has brought several of its most famous advertisements from time past and brought them into the present with the help of a modern-day icon Beyonce, who will star as the films’ protagonist. Ok, so it’s not exactly a new or special collection but it’s hard to look away when pop superstar is fronting Levi’s campaign. The move comes after the release of her album Cowboy Carter in March which featured the track “Levii’s Jeans”, though that the brand wasn’t working with her at the time. Naturally, the jeans brand saw this as a golden opportunity, and the rest is history.

The first film (inspired by 1985’s Launderette, the ad that famously revived the song “I Heard It Through The Grapevine”) has already been produced, kicking off a global campaign in San Francisco, New York, Paris, London, Berlin and more, with lots to come soon. Fans can shop for similar iconic Levi’s staples like the timeless 501 jeans.
