The first ever edition of Rochester Market held last weekend got rained out. So what was supposed to include 15 stalls really only featured five determined folks.
Among those in attendance that day were Bonheur Patisserie, Japanese premium rice seller Momo Rice and natural beauty and food product purveyor Mekhala Living. The main presence was of course Rochester Market, which carried a range of packaged organic food such as gummy bears, raisins and muesli bars. They had planned to bring in produce but figured they wouldn’t chance having all those fresh vegetables getting caught in the rain.
Perhaps it’ll get better. The market is set to be a monthly shindig on the first Sunday of every month. The next edition goes down on March 3 (9am-2pm). So stay tuned for more updates.
