Liang Court recently welcomed twelve new tenants into its family, creating an even more diverse retail experience for shoppers. These new tenants are an assorted mix of F&B, beauty and wellness, fashion, and education establishments. They include Japanese casual wear giants Uniqlo, ramen franchise Tonkotsu Kazan and skincare retailers SHEA.
Fashion behemoth Uniqlo’s new 10,000 sq. ft. store (#01-35/36/39/40) is their 13th outlet in Singapore. Expect their trademark range of colorful wardrobe staples at affordable prices, including their Ultra Light Down Jackets ($79.90)—a must-have for those heading to cooler climates this season.
At first glance, Tonkotsu Kazan (#01-09/10) might seem like just any other run-of-the-mill ramen chain. However, what sets this ramen house apart from the rest of the pack is its signature Kazan Ramen ($15-$18)—the noodles are served in a “volcanic” pot and cooked on the spot for one minute to enhance the flavors of the dish. Traditional ramen purists may scoff at this novel cooking method; however, the ramen broth is indeed rich and flavorful and the noodles, delightfully springy.
SHEA (#01-33) stocks a wholesome array of haircare and skincare products that are formulated with—you guessed it—shea butter. The delectable-looking soaps, lotions, creams and serums on sale are all-natural, and are imported from places like London, USA, Morocco, India and Ghana. They smell so good, you’ll want a bit of everything.
Other new tenants in the mix include homegrown coffee house Fun Toast, Eye Studio Tokyo, Naoki Yoshihara by Ash, Dunkin’ Donuts, Eshinkan Learning School, Little White Cottage, MindChamps Preschool and Salon Symphony, as well as Kensai Kitchen, which is slated to open in January 2014.
