The Wild Mustang collection is no different. Just imagine the free spirit of the wild mustangs galloping across the pristine American West; it is a stirring sight and a reminder of our deepest connections to the earth. But despite the 1971 Wild Free Roaming Horses and Burros act where Americans pledged to preserve wild horses, habitats have been lost along with threat of roundups and confinement.
Funds raised from sale of this collection will support the American Wild Horse Campaign and their work protecting a recently discovered isolated herd of wild horses in Utah’s Cedar Mountains. The programme aims to protect habitats and enhance water availability for the horses, keeping them humanely in balance with their environment.
Chantecaille’s limited-edition Wild Mustang collection is inspired by the gorgeous hues of America’s wild mustangs and the rocky Western landscape they roam in. There are two Luminescent and two Matte limited-edition fall shades ($98 each), all adorned with images of wild mustangs. Roan is a shimmering cinnamon while Pinto is a silvery mauve. Both feature a gel-powder vegan formula infused with pure-pearl particles for a smooth, beautiful shimmer on the eyelid.
The matte shades are a great companion for the fall season. The creamy soft hues deliver a velvety cream-like finish, and are available in Bay, a chocolate brown, and Palomino, a golden beige.
Chantecaille’s best-selling luminous, hydrating vegan lipstick, the Lip Veil ($91), is available in two new shades – Wild Begonia (a deep rose) and Laurel (rich pink nude) – inspired by Western wildflowers. Leaving a nourishing but weightless glaze on the lips, it comes in a limited-edition horse-adorned modern magnetic case.
The Lip Veil is enriched with FairWild Standard-certified organic Baobab oil harvested ethically from Zimbabwe’s 2,000-year-old Baobab trees. It also adheres to the Fairwild Standard, a certification that ensures that the wild plant ingredients have been sustainably harvested and fairly traded.
