A shame that Black Friday isn’t more widely celebrated here in Singapore. Frankly, we think Singaporeans would be ace at queueing up hours (overnight, even) before stores open, and strategically dashing around grabbing discounted gifts on their to-buy list. Strangely enough, all the upcoming deals this Friday-after-Thanksgiving, few as they are, are limited to the Interweb. Still, if you were bent on spending some dollar dollar bills this Nov 24-26, here are the Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals worth checking out.
Courts
The furniture and lifestyle giant is coming in hard with the Black Friday deals. Every day from now till Nov 24, exclusive new countdown deals are revealed online—ranging from Philips air fryers at 60% off to a twin sofa bed at half price. Online shoppers can expect over 100 deals starting from $1, ranging from mobile accessories and smartphones to household items and appliances, laptops and other tech gadgets. For non-sale items, the promo code “BLACK” gives you up to 12% off storewide. Delivery is free on all orders over $200 and on orders over $100 if you’re a subscribed HomeClub Elite member.
And in a bid to get you down to the actual store, every online purchase made on Black Friday (Nov 24) will get you a $10 Courts voucher to use in stores, valid for use till Nov 30 and which you can collect at the Courts Megastore from Nov 25-26. It’s like they want to bankrupt you.
Zafferano
Italian restaurant and lounge Zafferano is offering 20% off a $100 dining voucher when you purchase online through EventBrite. The cash voucher is good for use from Jan-Feb 2018, though not on the eve of and on Valentine’s Day. Act fast—the offer is available from now till Nov 24.
Sephora
15% off sitewide, starting midnight on Nov 24. The only other times Sephora proffers such generous discounts are during their Black Card sales, when everything is at 20% off, and only if you’re a Black or Gold card member; so this is a good time to buy if you missed out.
Reebonz
If you’ve been saving up for your next big luxury splurge, now is your time. From Nov 24-26, luxury C2C retailer Reebonz will offer sitewide markdowns of up to 90% off, where members can choose to receive either 25% credits back or 20% off a minimum spend of $800. After the Black Friday weekend, you can still shop refreshed selections of up to 70% off from Nov 27-30; members get an extra 10% off their orders, plus earn 10% off their final order value back in credits.
Zalora
No surprise here—e-commerce giant Zalora is back with another of their famous sales. This one lets you shop up to 70% off the wide range of local and international brands from Nov 25-28, 11:59pm.
Redmart
Grocery shopping is a serious business that deserves its own Black Friday deals too. Take $20 off your purchase sitewide when you use the code CUP20D, with a minimum cart of $120. No end date to the promo code yet, so stock up on potatoes and shop away!
