Those working in the CBD area (at least those near Tanjong Pagar, anyway) are in luck. Discount retail chain Don Don Donki is opening its second store in Singapore on Jun 14 at the 100AM mall, just in time for the Hari Raya long weekend.
It’s gonna be a massive store too, just like the flagship Orchard one, and takes up spaces on both the mall’s second and third floors. Unlike the first outlet though, this branch will have a focus on “Japan Mobile Foods”, which we interpret as foods you can easily eat while on-the-go—perfect for the busy office people nearby.
And in case you’re wondering, yes, the purply-good sweet potato served piping hot will be available here, as well as new items like grilled corn (YUM) and candy floss. There will be soft serve, coffee and fruit juices too, just to cover all your essential needs.
But it’s not just about the food. Knowing the variety they have available, expect to do plenty of shopping here, especially since the beauty and wellness section will be pretty robust, according to them. Those checking out the store on their opening day (Jun 14, 10am-10pm) can look out for product promos, special sales, games and giveaways too.
