After gifting Christmas beauty sets to your loved ones, it’s time to treat yourself. Here are four exciting new skincare and makeup products from Fenty Skin, Gucci Beauty, Dior and Ange Gardien Paris that will up your beauty game for 2021.
Fenty Skin
The highly anticipated skincare line from Rihanna is finally here. Like her makeup, Rihanna created her skincare products to suit all kinds of skin tones and types.
All have vegan, cruelty-free, gluten-free and eco-friendly formulas; even the sleek lilac packaging is made with recyclable materials.
Start your skincare regimen with the Total Cleans’r Remove-It-All Cleanser ($38). This is a two-in-one makeup remover and cleanser that gets rid of all the impurities while allowing the skin to retain its moisture.
Follow up with Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum ($42) that brightens, smooths, and mattifies skin to give you a healthy glow.
The line also includes a daytime moisturiser-sunscreen hybrid, the Hydra Vizor Invisible Moisturiser Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen ($54) that blends into all skin tones. Its lightweight formula sits perfectly under makeup while still giving you the moisture you need.
For a more heavy duty moisturiser, the Instant Reset Overnight Recovery Gel-Cream (S$60) will do the trick. It promises a brighter, fresher complexion within just one week.
Fenty Skin products are available at Sephora.
Gucci Beauty
To end off 2020, Gucci Beauty has launched two brand new products. The Silk Priming Serum ($90) is a lightweight primer that blurs pores and fine lines to give your skin a smooth and supple finish.
It can be applied on its own for a natural look, or paired together with the new Natural Finish Fluid Foundation ($100). This foundation offers a buildable coverage depending on the look you want. The non-greasy formula is designed to reduce the look of blemishes and pores while still looking natural.
The products are available at Gucci Beauty counters at various locations, including Takashimaya, Tang and Sephora Ion.
Dior Beauty
If you couldn’t get your hands on the Dior Forever Couture Cushion – Diormania Limited Edition earlier in the year, here’s your chance to score another highly sought-after Dior cushion foundation.
But instead of the iconic Dior oblique print in navy, the new Diormania Gold Edition ($98) features a luxurious black case embellished with a gold Dior logo.
The foundation remains the same, offering a luminous-matte finish that promises to last 24 hours, even with Singapore’s heat and humidity.
The cushion was exclusively pre-launched at Dior’s new flagship boutique at Ion Orchard on Dec 26 and islandwide on Jan 1 2021. Also available until their official release are two new lip products, the Rouge Dior ($56) and the Rouge Dior Satin Balm ($56).
Ange Gardien Paris
This artisanal French brand introduces their new makeup line that is aimed towards Asian women. Each product is formulated with natural ingredients, targeting hydration, skin barrier care, and overall skin health.
Products include the Velvet Cloud Lipstick ($42) that uses hydrolysed acacia peptides to give your lips a plump look. The Colour Nurture Lip Lacquer ($39) has similar nourishing properties, and gives lips a supple appearance while looking vibrant.
The Vitamins Showtime Eye Palette ($78) comes in a compact case and features nine wearable shades, ranging from nude mattes to shimmery ruby browns. This versatile palette allows you to easily transition from day to night.
Match these eyeshadows with the Here’s Proof Volumising Mascara ($38) that curls and lifts lashes without smudging. The Cushion Foundation Duo ($80) provides coverage and glow, and also has SPF50 to protect your skin from the harsh sunlight.
The makeup line can be bought at the brand’s online store and exclusively at Tangs.
