We wrote about In Good Company last week when details were a little hazy, and now the local label has finally opened its doors to Ion Orchard shoppers today. Here’s the big reveal: the 3,300 sq. ft. space will not only carry womenswear and childrenswear collections, they have also tied-up with homegrown companies such as magazine retailer Magpie and publisher Math Paper Press so customers can also shop for international and indie glossies, and poetry and fiction books by local authors. The boutique stocks other brands like handcrafted bag label Hoiming from Hong Kong and Australian laundry care specialist Mr. Black.
Better still, you can grab a bite from the boutique’s 800 sq. ft. in-house cafe managed by Plain Vanilla Bakery. But there’s more than their famous cupcakes on the menu. For the first time, the bakery has whipped up a list of breakfast items such as speciality grilled sandwiches, freshly made granola, fruit and yoghurt bowls with walnut crumble and agave nectar as well as cakes, pastries and artisanal breads.
