For many decades now, fashion has long been entwined with art. In fact, for all we know, the next great art movement might just be something we’ll want to hang in our closets – and H&M’s latest streetwear collection comes as a perfect a testament to that.
The fast-fashion giant’s latest campaign features iconic artworks by Keith Haring, also known as one of the most influential names in the world of pop art. Haring’s popularity emerged from the New York City graffiti subculture of the ‘80s, when his animated imagery quickly generated worldwide buzz for its fierce expressions and strong social messages.
To date, Haring’s symbolic iconography – often described as playful and irreverent – continues to live on in memorable pop culture collaborations with labels from Adidas Originals and Supreme, to Vivienne Westwood and David Bowie.
This H&M streetwear drop includes relaxed tees, shirts, joggers, and hoodies – all in contemporary styles with either a smattering trace or one healthy dose of Haring’s bold lines and artistic touch.
Buyers can also look forward to a range of sneakers and accessories as well. New additions for the latest collection include a printed pile jacket, underwear, and a slip-on canvas sneaker.
Available online and in selected H&M retail stores from 24 Mar onwards, the Keith Haring series is filled with vibrant pieces you’ll love to rep on the street. There’ll definitely be no guilt in choosing to hoard all of them!
