Use its new Click and Dabao service to skip the wait when ordering your favourite meatballs to-go too

Got a hankering for some of Ikea’s popular Swedish snacks? From now onwards, you can easily shop for the brand’s most beloved eats via the Foodpanda app. Available for islandwide delivery, the grocery selection available includes the 1kg frozen meatballs pack, almond cake, vegetarian pizza and ready-to-bake cinnamon buns.

There’s also the plant-based meatballs for vegetarians, jams as well as canned seafood options.

But say you’re craving the original Ikea meatballs and mash, you can soon head down and skip the queue when you pre-order its hot meals.

The soon-to-launch Click and Dabao food pick-up service will be available from Jun 7 onwards at Ikea Alexandra and Ikea Tampines. A new way for diners to enjoy their favourite Ikea foods at home, simply pre-order from Ikea’s restaurant and bistro menu on your smartphone before picking up your order at the nearest Ikea store.

To order, scan a QR code and follow the instructions online to make an e-payment. Customers will receive an SMS when their order is ready for collection, which they can present at the counter to collect their food.

In case you were wondering, Ikea Jurong will launch the service once its store is permitted to reopen to the public.

Now you can easily get your Ikea favourites anytime, anywhere.
