A massive international sports store has launched in Bedok

International sports retailer Decathlon has launched what it touts to be the largest store in Southeast Asia at Technopark@Chai Chee. The 35,000 sq. ft store will offer 95,000 in-house products spanning from footwear to apparel and equipment of over 50 different types of sports for men, women and children.

There are several indoor testing zones for those who’d like to try their hand at table-tennis, mini golf and trampolining. You can even bring your own bike of any brand to be fixed at the store’s bicycle repair workshop. The outdoor area includes a free-for-all basketball court that’s open to public everyday. But the highlight has to be its products—Decathlon promises a 20-40% lower price point and some popular items include the Oxelo Town 9 Easyfold scooter ($279.90), which is a foldable ride, the Triboard Easybreath mask ($85.90) which lets snorkelers breathe through their nose underwater, and the Quechua 2 Seconds Easy 1 tent ($85.90), which sets up in two seconds.
