Vintage home furnishing store The GoDown threw open its doors recently in the River Valley neighborhood.
Founded by interior designer Audrey Lee, the store takes its name from a godown, a commercial warehouse typically found in Asia (and all along the Singapore River) that stores goods in-transit.
The contemporary warehouse-like space brims with a vast array of both vintage and new home furnishing and decor items sourced from all over the world. Everything you see in store (well, almost) is for sale. The well-curated collections often feature one-of-a-kind finds, so don’t think twice or the item that has caught your eye may be gone tomorrow. Expect to find new items available in store each month.
