Nike Cortez celebrates 40th anniversary with eight customized designs by Singapore personalities

Celebrating their 40th anniversary, Nike Cortez has engaged eight of Singapore’s best talents from various fields to each customize a Cortez for the Cortez Turns 40 exhibition.
The “designers” are Anne Qihui (marathoner), Ling Wu (designer), Luthfi Mustafah a.k.a The Killer Gerbil (visual artist), Mriz Sidah (creative director), Nicole Chua (professional MMA fighter), Sebastian Tay (sneaker head), Sheikh Haikel (host and rapper) and Wayne Lee (Zouk’s head of entertainment).
Singapore is one of five countries in Southeast Asia to participate in the “Cortez Turns 40” celebration—including Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Philippines. Each country has invited eight of their best talents from various industries to each personalize a Cortez. At the end of the exhibition, all 40 pairs of Cortez will be stored as part of Nike’s archive.
From now till July 15, these eight pairs of Nike Cortez will be available for viewing at the Cortez Turns 40 exhibition the Limited Edt Chamber @ Marina Bay Sands.
