The National Design Centre is hosting a big and quirky pasar malam

Singapore’s first design-centric pasar malam, Singapasar, returns for its second run with more handmade and artisanal goodies from local craftsmen and designers, from Jul 29-31.

35 vendors (up from 22 last year) will occupy the entire atrium and gallery space in the National Design Centre and its tenants—Kapok, Keepers, Onemaker Group and Tanuki Raw—will be joining in the fun with a special lineup of activities too.

The Farm Store, who is organizing the event, will also be launching their new collection, along with other brands on the day. Other goodies up for grabs are stylish scarves from Binary Style, high-brow reads from BooksActually, Tee Saurus’ Singlish office decor, Singapore-inspired tees from Entrepôt and more.

If you’re feeling peckish, treat yourself to some truffles from Demochoco, traditional handmade ang ku kueh from Ji Xiang Confectionary, or go for Homebakee’s Singapore-inspired pastries—think ondeh ondeh and kaya toast flavored cupcakes.
