Hot on the heels of other multi-concept lifestyle stores, White Label Records joins the Ann Siang House complex with fresh perspective and a dedication to vinyl. Started by the founders of social e-commerce company #vinyloftheday, the cozy space is the brand’s first brick-and-mortar venture—an integrated record store, performance space and bar.
First and foremost, White Label caters to enthusiasts of the iconic recording format. Be prepared to spend hours digging through crates; the store carries a selection of second-hand and brand new records from various eras, ranging from hip-hop to R&B, jazz reggae, dub, techno, psychedelia, soundtracks and more. Collaborations with local and regional record labels like Jazzy Sport (JP) ensure a regularly rotating, curated selection—not to mention pop-up merchandise sales and guest DJ sets.
Come night, the place transforms into a vibing event space, complete with music-themed nights, live acts and DJ sets to accompany any wining and dining you do by the bar. On the menu is a selection of cold brews, mixed drinks, craft beers, and in-house cocktails—like the signature vodka-based Fresh Fruit Mojito ($16-$20), Moscow Mule ($16), and Chrysanthemum Martini ($20) infusing dried flowers in vodka. For bites, expect rotating items like Hayashi Beef Rice and Chicken Tsukene. Never go hungry (or thirsty) rootling through records again.
