The Orchard strip’s latest mega-mall is Orchard Gateway at Somerset, which straddles and links (via the unmissable bridge) both sides of the road. Must-visits among the 40 stores here are indie boutiques Actually and SECTS Shop, as well as local womenswear label Whole9Yards. There are plenty of high street labels here, too, including edgy British fashion label Religion’s only standalone store in Singapore. Plus, US high-performance sportswear label Under Armour has its first store in Southeast Asia here.
