The buzz: Originally founded in Amsterdam back in 2000, this franchise has grown quickly opening 50 venues across the globe from London and Milan to New York and Shanghai. This is their first store in Singapore and the large space in ION Orchard aims to offer to cover all the menswear essentials from shirts, pants, bags and shoes and suits that can be tailored on site.
The vibe: Spacious, airy and bright, with lots of different colors and fabrics to keep you occupied while you browse. The ridiculously well-dressed staff are friendly and very happy to hand out style tips.
The goods: A stylish and well-curated range of menswear sorted into different looks, so you might find chinos in one section along with a range of shirt that match. There is also a huge selection of ties but what makes Suit Supply really stand out is the range of suits on offer covering over 50 different cuts classic, contemporary and evening styles. They take particularly pride in the fabrics which are imported from Italy and their in house-tailoring service, in this a case a waistcoated uncle who can alter the suits for anyone with a hard-to-fit body shape. Price-wise, it’s slightly higher-end, but still affordable. Shirt start from $109, trousers from $179 and suits from $595.
Why you’ll be back: Definitely a good middle-ground option for the dapper gent who wants to leave the high street stores behind but can’t afford to go fully bespoke. The style tips and the in-house tailoring services are particularly big pluses in our book.
