Chewy, sticky and indulgent, caramel candy might not be great for teeth but it certainly lifts your mood, at least for a little while.

Now there’s another homegrown option – The Caramelier. Brought to you by Thirtythree (the team behind The Dark Gallery, Singapore’s first dark chocolate-centric cafe and boutique concept), The Caramelier is Singapore’s first artisanal caramel retailer.

Unlike mass produced candy, these caramels are made in small batches to ensure consistency and quality. Only natural ingredients without artificial preservatives, flavourings, or additives are used. The soft caramels feature high-quality European milk and French butter, and each piece is cooked to precision, cooled, then individually hand-cut and wrapped by skilled chefs. The result is delightful sticky morsels of happiness that are not overly sweet.

There are six signature flavours ranging from savoury and nutty, to floral and fruity: Roasted Pecan, Pink Salt, Raspberry Rose, Gula Melaka Coconut, Earl Grey, and Coffee. All are priced at $12 for a box of six. To mark the festive season, The Caramelier has also unveiled the limited-edition Vanilla Spice which features a blend of Madagascar vanilla and aromatic spices.
