, Sneak peek at Lumine Singapore’s new global flagship store at Raffles City

Fans of Japanese fashion should mark their calendars, because Lumine Singapore will be opening its global flagship store at Raffles City Singapore on Aug 27. The large 7,000 square-foot (650 square metres) space will offer a curated selection of Japan’s finest fashion and lifestyle brands catering to “highly independent, curious, and creative individuals of Singapore”.  

Previously located at  Clarke Quay Central, the new flagship store will have multiple concepts with sections dedicated to women’s and men’s fashion, as well as products related to culture and lifestyle.

Here’s what shoppers can expect when it opens later this month.

1. Renowned Japanese lifestyle and fashion brands such as Beams, United Arrows, Tomorrowland. The brands will showcase their collections in a distinctive shop-in-shop format, each in a unique space that reflects their individual branding and identity. Also featured are other popular brands like Fray I.D, Snidel, And Couture, Elendeek, Spick & Span, and Le Talon.

2. A curated selection of the finest Fukui products and crafts, in collaboration with Fukui prefecture. Renowned for its traditional crafts such as Sabae City’s eyeglasses and Echizen City’s cutlery, the products from Fukui Prefecture have been updated to suit modern times while preserving their traditional techniques and manufacturing methods.

3. The debut of Blue Bottle Coffee. The renowned specialty coffee brand already has over 100 cafes worldwide and a strong following in Japan. It will first open as a gift shop with a selection of coffee and merchandise, including Craft Instant Espresso and a variety of drinkware and accessories, followed by an exhibition curated by Blue Bottle Coffee.
