Uniqlo has unveiled its Fall/Winter 2024 LifeWear collection that blends classic styles with modern designs. At a “Timeless Tones” immersive showcase last month, it revealed new technology and stylings for the new season, including improved functionality and materials, and colours inspired by the tonal gradations seen in European cities.
Tailored meets casual
The Fall/Winter journey began in a “Neo-Tradition” room inspired by The University of Edinburgh, famed for its unique blend architecture styles. Amplifying the intersection between traditional and new styling inspirations, the collection featured tailored-meets-casual clothing, summer-to-fall transition pieces, and cool fresh colours. Outfits were layered with denim, sweats, flannels, wet weather gear and knitwear.
For the colder months ahead, Stockholm and the Scandinavian concept of Hygge took centrestage. The Neo-nordic showcase highlighted elements of the city and a wintry forest featuring indoor to outdoor transitional styling – smart casual city-chic, warm neutrals in classic tones, relaxed and sophisticated silhouettes, and seamless outdoor layering options.
A new range of Heatteach was revealed. The brand presented Heattech Cashmere, made of a thin fabric that blends nine percent cashmere to achieve a smooth layering piece that keeps wearers warm; and a new range of Pufftech made with the lightest and warmest Uniqlo yarn ever developed.
Look out for these new-season offerings in stores in the coming weeks.
