Parkway Parade: Conscious consumption at Trash to Eden roving fest
Escape from rampant consumerism with Trash to Eden, a bazaar, thrift store and interactive learning experience rolled into one at Parkway Parade from now to Jul 21.
The roving exhibition features a host of creative activations and workshops designed to get you thinking about conscious consumption and the world we live in, ranging from the Greenhouse, where mindful collections from the likes of Innisfree, Muji And Uniqlo take centre stage, to an urban farm complete with self-water systems in The Garden, and even an interactive mirror where you can snap a selfie in your very own AI-generated eco-utopia. There’ll even be a thrift store hosted where you pay as you wish entirely on trust alone.
The roving exhibition will move to other participating Lendlease malls like 313@somerset from Aug 8 to 18, then Paya Lebar Quarter from Aug 22 to Sep 1. To top it all off, you’ll get extra Plus$ from now to Sep 1 if you engage in green practices while shopping like bringing your own bag or container.

Kinex: Sustainability abound at Green Movement With U
It seems like it’s the time of year for eco-friendly shopping festivals. UOL Malls’ sustainability campaign, Green Movement With U, will also be returning in July with a series of lifestyle activations across participating malls that are all about greenery.
The roving exhibition will first plant its roots at Kinex with an educational zone done up to resemble a forest city. There, shoppers can learn about recycling techniques, the waste cycle and other eco-friendly subjects through educational panels and games.
Knowledge won’t be the only thing they’re bringing home – shoppers who spend at least $30 in a same-day single receipt can adopt their very own potted plant (from Aug 3 to 4 at Kinex, while stocks last). If they spend $60, they’ll get to participate in weekend upcycling workshops where they craft their own carabiners, coasters or tote bags from recycled materials.
Thereafter, the exhibition will move on to United Square (Aug 5 to 11), then Velocity@Novena (Aug 12 to 18).
