Established in Vinzavod, Moscow, 11.12 Gallery, a centre for contemporary art, opened its Singapore branch in November 2012. The gallery presents contemporary art in a series of works that embody traditional Russian realism with current trends of avant-garde and post-modernism. The gallery works with talented young artists that are recognized in their field for their unique style and technique. The gallery owners Alexander Sharov and Elvira Sharova, who founded the Moscow gallery in 2005, have a passion for contemporary art, as well as showcasing each of the artist’s work in Asia to give Asian collectors a feel for Russian contemporary artwork.
