Artcommune Gallery was set up in October 2009 by Mr Ho Sou Ping, who at 37 quit his aerospace engineering job to become a full-time artist. Located on the second floor of Bras Basah Complex, the gallery carries quality artworks across different mediums by established Singaporean artists including first-generation masters Cheong Soo Pieng and ChenWen Hsi, and second-generation veterans such as Lim Tze Peng, Ong Kim Seng, Tan Choh Tee, Tong Chin Sye and Wong Keen. The gallery also promotes work by young, emerging local talents, like Anthony Chua, Hong Sek Chern and Zhu Hong.
