The Centre for Contemporary Art (CCA) Singapore was developed by Nanyang Technological University (NTU) with the support of Singapore’s Economic Development Board. Located in Gillman Barracks alongside a cluster of international galleries, the CCA operates as a local hub with an international perspective under the leadership of Professor Ute Meta Bauer, the CCA’s Founding Director.
“As the recently inaugurated Centre for Contemporary Art, we are pleased to be an active part of Gillman Barracks and join forces alongside a cluster of international galleries and young creative enterprises to develop a vibrant cultural community where contemporary art really matters. CCA’s specific role is to provide a platform for experimentation, to test and explore new ideas.”
