The Lumas Gallery first opened at Berlin’s famous Hackescher Markt in 2004, and has now grown with 40 locations around the world. Its newest outlet is located along the Orchard shopping belt in Paragon, and the gallery interiors resemble the insides of apartments, with brightly colored furniture to complement the pieces on display. Most of the work exhibited is by contemporary photographers, although there is work by Edward Steichen, well-known photographer of the 20th century, Gottfried Salzmann, who is famous for his cityscapes, and Dada and Surrealist Man Ray. If you’re lucky, the gallery may also display a few prints by Damien Hirst.
