The buzz: Newly opened in the heart of Dempsey, the aptly named Luxe House is the latest indulgent high-end spa to arrive in Singapore. This place looks to stand out with a flashy interior design and an unusual range of foot-focused treatments.
The vibe: The design is modern art gallery meets dimly lit cocktail bar. The interiors are dark, textured and opulent—think high-backed plush armchairs, hanging orchids, glittering chandeliers and gathered velvet curtains. The treatment rooms themselves are similarly styled with dim lighting, textured fabric walls and bouquets of flowers.
The goods: The treatment menu blends Eastern and Western wellness philosophies and while they offer the normal range of massages their specialty is therapies for the feet. Signature treatments include the 60-minute traditional acupressure foot massage ($118), the 100-minute foot and back therapy ($158) and the 80-minute intensive rejuvenation foot therapy ($188), which includes a hot stone treatment for your legs and back and cupping on your feet. There are also foot baths (from $20) and pedicures ($70) if you need to tackle those bunions. You also get to choose your own scented massage oil from a range of aromatherapy oils that are blended in house.
Why you’ll be back: This spa is seriously swish and boasts a good location while the specialist treatments to pamper your pinkies should appeal to those who spend their days on their feet.
