The buzz:The sartorial masterminds behind bespoke tailor Kevin Seah, shoe label Ed Et Al and hip multilabel store Cumulus have teamed up to open this new men-focused multi-label boutique in Boat Quay.
The vibe: Its dramatic, red-carpeted stairway decorated with black and white photographs of celebrities has the air of a leather-clad, gentlemen’s lounge. But through the glass door is an understated and intimate space with a moody and sophisticated vibe, thanks to the dark wood floors and furnishings.
The goods: Don’t miss the three founders’ pride and glory—carryalls from Cumulus ($200 onwards), bespoke shoes from Ed Et Al ($2,500 upwards) and bespoke threads from K by Kevin Seah ($150 upwards). There are also preppy shirts from local label Crawford & Sons ($149 onwards), leather bracelets from Carrie K ($99 upwards), bags from Jack Spade ($350 upwards) and cool glasses from Masunaga Eyewear ($460 upwards).
Why you’ll be back: For one, there aren’t many stores here that cater primarily to dressing up the well-heeled man and this swanky store has everything for an expansive wardrobe. And with all the grooming parlors popping up around the island, looking dandy has never been so fashionable.
