The buzz: Previously only available from a small counter in Takashimaya’s sports department, the full Le Coq Sportif golf collection is finally available at its first standalone store.
The vibe: A 550 sq. ft. space with black-and-white colored spaces clearly demarcates the pieces for women (white) and men (black). A clever move too, as the pieces from its Spring/Summer collection feature a smorgasbord of colors and prints: Red, blue, green, checks, stripes, floral, black, white and everything in between.
The goods: Jackets, sweaters, polo tees, hoodies and caps are the main draws for guys, while for the girls, mini sporting skirts, hot pants, cropped overalls and Bermudas. Tops are affordably capped between $100-200, and accessories are $20 upwards.
Why you’ll back: With a resurgent TIger Woods once again stalking the world’s greens, the golf look is definitely back.
