The buzz: Singaporeans can’t get enough of Uniqlo. This, their fourth, may not be the biggest but it’s already drawing in the crowds for its reliable and evergreen basics.
The vibe: Reminiscent of the design and layout of its other stores (think all white), the vibe is heightened by the fact that it’s perpetually packed.
Fact: When it first opened two weeks ago, more than 200 people were already forming a queue before opening time.
The goods: The 10,000 sq. ft. space is chock full of basic ready-to-wear, accessories and innerwear that you simply can’t say no to. Although the Jil Sander collaboration J+ is not sold here, you can still rely on other hot-selling ranges like UT Women— Cath Kidston ($24.90 upwards), UT Men—One Piece and Corporate Collaboration ($24.90 upwards), as well as a huge selection of polo tees ($29.90 upwards).
Why you’ll be back: It’s hard to argue with wardrobe staples at these prices.
