WanderWonder

The buzz: One of the premier purveyors of preppy local menswear labels, WanderWonder, steps up with their first standalone boutique at Haji Lane.
The vibe: Intimate, cozy and rustic—befitting its 700 sq. ft. space. The design has been kept minimal; owners and designers Lenz Fan and Kenny Ong have even retained the original Burmese teak flooring from the ‘60s to capitalize on their bare approach—design trickery that’s excellently pulled off so that attention goes straight to the clothes.
The goods: Apart from its staple in-house Oxford shirts ($139 upwards) and brogue shoes ($169 upwards) that the brand is already well-known for, look out for collaborative pieces with international brands like Bexar Goods Co. and Tellason—specially created just for the store. For the former, leather carry-alls that will look even better with age ($349 upwards), and the latter, specialty cut-and-sewn jeans conceptualized in San Francisco with owners Tony Patella and Pete Searson ($349 upwards).
Why you’ll be back: There’s never a bad time to visit this hip ‘hood. Here’s one more reason to make your return visit even sweeter.
