Park Bench Deli has been on a roll with its collaborations lately. Last Nov saw the epic tie-up with Michelin-starred Candlenut and Native Bar; this Mar 11, the sandwich experts are bringing back their widely popular Rosita’s Deluxe pop-up event.
Taking a break from the usual deli-style sandwiches, Rosita’s is all about the all-American burger—think fresh beef ground in-house, dripping with cheese on a squishy potato bun. Just like last year’s edition, Hong Kong modern izakaya Yardbird will join as guest collaborator, and bring their distinct style of yakitori to the table. There won’t be skewered meats grilled over a Binchotan grill—but there will be juicy cheeseburgers, and a special Yardbird Chicken Sando ($20) that comes with katsu breast, cabbage, pickle and takana tartar for that unique Japanese twist. Need a drink? Sunday’s Grocery and Sake Central from Hong Kong will be part of the collab to provide sake and highballs too.
This marks the sixth Rosita’s since the pop-up was first conceptualized in 2015. Don’t sit on it; a little (yard)bird told us it’ll be the biggest one yet.
