Chill in a beer garden and shop for artisanal goods at RedMart’s two-day market

One of our go-to e-grocers, RedMart, appears to be on a perpetual prowl to expand their offerings and enhance the local shopping experience. While that’s great and all, come Dec 1-2, they are taking things offline and getting physical for a two-day affair.

The upcoming Foods & Goods marketplace will take place at The Working Capitol on Keong Saik. Expect a solid smorgasbord of over 40 stalls gathered in one spot, offering items ranging from local and foreign specialty goods to delicious nosh from artisanal purveyors and alcohol brands. The whole idea of this event is that you get to physically discover what’s offered on RedMart, and for once, get to sample them before you buy.

Have a taste of bistro grub from Culina, artisanal chocolates from Beans to Bars, as well as some Sidecar sausages. Then hit up the beer garden area manned by the guys from Pacific Beverages, or get crafted cocktails at pop-up bars by EC Proof and Diageo. Vino enthusiasts can look out for stalls by The Straits Wine Company, Oak & Barrrel, and Rouge Merchants, among others, or if you find it’s too early for a tipple, pick up a HIC Juice for a mini detox instead. And since Christmas is nearing, you might want to grab some gifts for your mates here in-between drinking and eating.

There will be activities and masterclasses too, including things like making your own coffee body scrub, or even blending your own smoothies through some pedal-power magic. So be prepared for a full day of retail indulgence.

Foods & Goods takes place Dec 1-2 from 10am at The Working Capitol, 1 Keong Saik Rd.
