Calling all Lego fans: Legoland Malaysia Resort’s Brick Fest is upon us, bringing a slew of exciting themed zones and activities to the sprawling resort in Iskandar Puteri, Malaysia from now to Sep 22.
There is something for just about anyone under the age of 99 at the three-month-long themed extravaganza, so make sure to leave your comfy hotel room and join your kiddos in soaking in the excitement of the experiences at the theme park, aquarium and water playground.
The adventure begins – literally – with an immersive expedition to ancient Egypt for the first month (now till Jun 30). We’re talking build-your-own-pyramid workshops, a Sphinx-inspired scavenger hunt and live Egyptian dance shows.
Thereafter, visitors from Jul 1 to Aug 31 will have a chance to live out their very own hero story in Lego City as they take on the role of policeman or firefighter, complete with live marching training, a police officer meet-and-greet and an academy to hone your peacekeeping skills.
Speaking of peacekeeping, the land of bricks returns to the olden days from Sep 1 to 30 by transporting visitors to the Middle Ages – so pick up your shield, string your bow and mount your steed, because it’s time to hunt for a dragon! As a reward for your chivalry, you’ll get to meet a wise wizard, craft your own sword and be swept into the world of fairytales.
Even if none of those strike your fancy, there’ll be a host of other themed activities running throughout Brick Fest 2024 at Legoland Malaysia Resort. These include a build-it-yourself Lego race car workshop – with the chance to test them out, right there and then, on a real, mini-sized racetrack! – a minifigure trading station to make new friends and expand your collection, as well as the chance to contribute to a record-breaking Lego domino trail.
