Cheval Blanc Randheli is a collaboration between architect Jean Michel Gathy and Cheval Blanc, on Randheli island in the Noonu Atoll in the Maldives. The resort is the second Cheval Blanc Maison in the world, after the exclusive Cheval Blanc Courchevel ski resort, and it is also the second Maldivian resort to have been deisgned by Gathy, after the highly acclaimed Reethi Rah Maldives.
Chavel Blanc Randheli combines contemporary design with inspiration drawn from the elements of sand, sea and sun, while cathedral style ceilings and 23ft. high doors ensure the space is filled with natural light, making the most of the surrounding island scenery. Inspired by Gathy’s life travels, it is designed for barefoot living and the graphic architecture is complimented by materials from the Indian Ocean and Europe. Swim in the villa’s private pool or wander along the private beach of the island, which was chosen for its unspoiled natural environment, lush vegetation and turquoise lagoon. The island is a 40-minute journey from Malé by seaplane.
The resort has a range of restaurants with international cuisine, under the expertise of three-Michelin starred chef Yannick Alléno.
