The CGI travel portal 3rd Planet was launched in mid December, 2011 and provides travellers a preemptive look at their future destinations.
The site lets you take a virtual tour of the area, starting out at the airports and providing key information on places of interest. The site however is still in its beta phase but already has a handful of destinations listed.
The portal will soon release apps for both iOS and Android.
