Founder of the Bangkok Theatre Network and the first Silapathorn Award winner Pradit Prasatthong will host the 11th Bangkok Theatre Festival from November 2-17.
The festival is expected to be Thailand’s biggest celebration of local arts and culture with performances ranging from classical folk musicals to contemporary mime acts.
Last year’s event featured 55 shows from 45 independent stage groups, including a traditional Thai dance Prawai Kiey Nang Wanthong, performed by the Banglampoo Classical Music and Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Arts, and three international shows.
