Bintan luxury retreat The Sanchaya (Lagoi Bay Village Lot B4, Bintan Resorts, Lagoi) is set to open with 26 villas and suites in early 2014, with introductory rates starting at US$350 (S$435).
The place will include accommodation options like the The Mali Villa inspired by Thailand’s Lawan Village, with canopied beds and a freestanding bath tub, as well as the Sen Trang Villa, which pays tribute to Vietnamese traditions with private landscaped terraces and gardens.
There’ll also be The Great House, with nine suites, many offering clear views of the Indian Ocean. All suites and villas will include Bang & Olufsen television and sound systems plus high-tech details iPads.
