Long-haul budget carrier Scoot is taking over the Hangzhou flight route from SilkAir. Starting Oct 25, the airline will be flying to Hangzhou every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, departing from Singapore at 5:10pm and arriving at 9:45pm.
Hangzhou is the capital of the Zhejiang province and is known for its breathtaking scenery and cultural sites like Ling Yin Temple and Six Harmonies Pagoda. The city is also famed for its Longjing (Dragon Well) green tea field. This will be the airline’s fifth China destination, in addition to Tianjin, Shenyang, Qingdao and Nanjing.
And don’t worry if you’ve already booked your flights through SilkAir, the airline will be re-accommodating passengers on its new service. One-way fares start at around $168.
