Love the low-cost air fares but hate having luggage limitations and squeezing into tight seats? Budget carrier AirAsia has launched a new “premium flex” class that offers travellers more flexibility with their travel plans.
Although it doesn’t necessarily mean that you’ll get business class seats, these tickets entitle you to priority check-in and boarding, 20kg of free check-in baggage, complimentary pick-a-seat choices and a two-time flight change cap so you can reschedule without extra fees and hassle. The best part, you can change your flight as close as two hours before departure.
Targeting jetsetting regional entrepreneurs, they’ve also allowed travellers to pick premium seats without any additional cost. It may not come as cheap, but prices for a round trip to Bali start at around $420, while flights to Perth hover around $1200. Starting Aug 29, the carrier will fly to destinations like Da Nang, while the Clark route starts on Oct 17.
