Chiang Mai’s 137 Pillars House hosts exhibition by Nat Posila and launches new sunday brunch buffet

Boutique hotel 137 Pillars House—situated in the middle of Chiang Mai’s historic Wat Gate area—is now hosting an exhibition of oil paintings (depicting tropical scenes) by noted local artist Nat Posila through July 31.

Go on a Sunday and you can also enjoy the hotel’s new Sunday Delight Brunch Buffet (noon-3pm), which is B1,200 (S$49) per adult with soft drinks or B1,700 (S$69) with free-flow alcohol. Room rates at the hotel start from B9,600 (S$392) per night.

Now is a great time for art lovers to visit Chiang Mai. While in the city, also check out “Hidden Realms Sacred Places”, a black-and-white infrared film photo exhibition of revered religious landmarks around Asia—by British photographer Martin Reeves—at resort Tamarind Village (from July 18-November 18) as well as H Gallery Chiang Mai’s Brian Curtin-curated exhibition about social relations and interconnections, on through August 25.
