Located on the southernmost tip of Bali, the chi chi Alila Villas Ulutwatu boasts stunning cliff-top views coupled with modern day spoils (think plush day beds overlooking the infinity pool and the unobstructed horizon behind it). Now, they’re giving you another reason to stay indoors: they’re bringing in local street food cart owners and recreating the authentic street food experience in their Sculpture Gardens.
These street food carts, known as kaki lima, are a common sight in Bali. Set to take place every Friday night, there will be five kaki lima owners serving up popular Indonesian dishes like mie ayam (chicken noodles), babi guling (suckling pig), bakso and pempek (meatball noodles with fishcake) with dessert options like es cendol. For US$30 ($39), you get to eat as much as you want.
Book between now and Mar 31, 2015 for a minimum of two nights and you’ll get to shave 25% off your bill. Alternatively, if you stay for at least four nights, you’ll get an extra night thrown in. This offer ends Feb 1, 2015. Head to their website for more info.
