Lao Airlines has commenced direct flights between Singapore and Laos three times a week. The three hour and 25 minute flight makes a weekend to the historic city, with its own ancient temples and French colonial charms, a very doable option.
Flights depart Vientiane on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 3.05pm, arriving at Changi at 6.30 pm the same day. The return flight departs Singapore at 7.40pm and arrives in Vientiane at 9.05pm.
