Go glamping in Thailand at this stunning new spot in the mountains

The next time you’re in Bangkok, head up north and into nature at Khaokho (it’s about a 5.5-hour drive north of the Thai capital), where new glamping spot The Campville has been erected.

Here, strings of fairy lights encircle the 63 safari-style tents, which come with sizable mattresses capable of accommodating either two (B1,500/night or around $63/night) or four (B2,500/night or around $105/night) guests.

There’s no AC, but fortunately temperatures in this mountainous part of Phetchabun get as low as 20 degrees Celsius during the winter time. For food, an a la carte menu is available for breakfast and, come evening, guests are encouraged to come together in the communal field area to enjoy live music while barbecuing their own dinner. There’s a bar too, so you know where to get your booze.

With gorgeous views over the surrounding hills and twinkling lights hanging overhead, it’s a rather romantic place as well. Let the pictures below speak for themselves.
