Celebrate Christmas with some special Korean tea lights

The cooler climes of Korea has always made it a a popular destination for Christmas. But instead of just staying in Seoul the whole time, why not venture out to the rolling hills of the Green Tea Plantation of Boseong? Known for producing the best green tea in Korea, they look to celebrate Christmas with a very special display of festive lights.

For the last decade, these green tea fields, which account for 40% of the country’s supplies, are decked out in bright lights during the festive season, making for a very unique Christmas scene. There will also be a green tea themed street, a light tunnel and a 120 meter tall Christmas tree plus the chance to sample some of the famous tea.

The festive lights will come on from Dec 12-Jan 25 2015. Head here for more info.
