Heading to Wonderfruit Festival? Here’s what’s in store

After postponing its original dates in December, the four-day festival of art, music, food and wellness is finally happening this weekend at the Fields at Siam Country Club, Pattaya. You’ve probably already blocked out the dates, booked the air tickets and maybe even packed your bags because you’re just so excited about the festival. Here’s a closer look at the highlights in music, food, art and adventure and wellness.

Music

Arguably the biggest musical act at this year’s festival is the English drum ‘n’ bass group Rudimental, best known for tracks like Waiting All Night and Feel The Love. Other big international acts include the English synth-pop singer/songwriter Shura, UK soul singer Lianne La Havas and many more. They’ll be joined by Thai artists such as rock band Srirajah Rockers and emerging molam singer Rasmee Isan Soul.

Food

Food stalls range from tasty street-food dishes to gourmet picks from the likes of Peppina, Appia, El Mercado, Thyme and more, plus outdoor banquets created by celebrity chefs including Gaggan, the F.A.C.T Collective Team and Cocotte, to name a few. They’ll be paired with workshops on the Wonderfruit farm all about sustainable cooking and organic food.

It isn’t Wonderfruit without the huge art installations, whether the festival’s iconic Molam Bus by the Jim Thompson Art Center, the Rainforest Pavilion, or the moveable Wonder Kar. This year also features designs and exhibitions from artists like Joan Vinas, Tom Potisit, Liam Morgan, Farmgroup and plenty more.
