This hotel opening in Genting Highlands is stunning

Hidden in the jungles of Malaysia’s Pahang state, the newly opened Best Western Premier Ion Delemon sits overlooking the lush greenery of the Titiwangsa Mountain Range.

At your doorstep, visitors will also find Genting’s Resorts World, featuring highlights like the Awana Skyway, Malaysia’s longest cable car ride with 10 special gondolas that come with glass-bottom floors for a 360-degree view of the journey. Rooms (246 of them) are basic but very well appointed for the $93/night standard rate. Each comes with flat-screen TVs, spacious bathrooms and large windows that overlook the stunning location. Elsewhere in the hotel you’ll find a sky garden, heated infinity pool and al fresco seating that takes advantage of the natural surroundings.

Make a note of it for later in the year, when 20th Century Fox World Theme Park makes its grand opening (date TBA). The fastest way is to take a plane to Kuala Lumpur (from $86 on AirAsia, $125 on SilkAir or $206 on Singapore Airlines), followed by a chartered bus up.
