If you’re sick of all the feasting over Chinese New Year, sign up for this four-day “pop-up” road bike tour that will be happening from Feb 19-22. “Pop-up” tours are SpiceRoads Cycle Tour’s new tour types that are planned around public holidays.
This tour will cover some 340km and will start just outside of Bangkok, heading towards the coastal city of Pattaya and then finishing at the seaside town of Laem Mae Phim. You’ll ride through rice fields, make a pit-stop at the massive 130m Buddha, visit quaint Thai villages and sample local grape juice at the Silverlake Winery.
There’ll be a local guide to keep you safe but even so, this trip is designed for fit and confident riders—the longest day is 110km. This tour will set you back US$750 ($1014) and includes shared accommodation, meals, drinks and snacks while riding.
Need more time to work on your fitness? Don’t worry, they have a couple more “pop-up” tours in the works for later this year. To find out more, head here.
