Jakarta is throwing a huge electronic dance music festival over two days in December

Even though Thailand’s highly anticipated annual music festival Wonderfruit was postponed, we’re not short of music festivals. The season of raving day-in and day-out is upon us, with huge festivals happening in both Singapore and around the region like It’s The ShipNeon Lights, ZoukOut, Laneway, Vietnam’s Quest Festival and Koh Samui’s Paradise Island Festival. Now, you can add Indonesia’s Djakarta Ware House Project to the list as it returns for the eighth time on Dec 9-10 at the Jiexpo Kemayoran Convention Center.

Their final lineup is already out with big names like that Hardwell, Martin Garrix, Zedd and DJ Snake making the bill. There are also heavy hitters like Jason Ross and Unmet Ozcan, tech house stalwart Hot Since 82, and successful French-Canadian producer Tiga. Besides the huge line of international acts, there will also be 30 regional acts. But the best part is that they are bringing back the Life in Color Kingdom’s paint party to the festival like last year, and is touted to be the world’s largest paint party.

There are a number of flight services to Jakarta, with Jetstar and Tigerair offering rates starting from $160 (return tickets, excluding baggage and taxes). For more information, check out their Facebook page, or visit their website
