Jazz Festival Beijing 2013 on through October 18

The Jazz Festival Beijing 2013—which debuted this year—will run through October 18 in the Chinese capital.

The event held at well known concert venue Yu Gong Yi Shan includes performances by Dutch pop singer Wouter Hamel (September 22) as well as a show by contemporary French composer and trumpet player Ibrahim Maalouf (October 10), plus a special concert by Grammy award-winning American singer Patti Austin at the Forbidden City Concert Hall (October 18).
